TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RAIDER/PILOT

Welcome to vooket, these Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our mobile application and services that provide transportation services such as bike rides, auto rides, and taxi rides for customers from one point to another. By downloading, accessing, or using our App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our App.

  • Definitions

    • “Customer” means any person using the App to book rides.
    • “Pilot” or “Rider Partner” means an individual registered with the App to provide transportation services.
    • “Services” means the transportation and booking facilitation provided through the App.
    • “App” refers to the mobile application and its related platforms operated by vooket.

  • Eligibility

    You must:

    • Be at least 18 years old.
    • Have full legal capacity to enter into contracts under applicable law.
    • Use the App only for lawful purposes.

  • Services Provided

    The App connects Customers with independent Driver Partners who offer bike, auto, or taxi rides. We act only as a technology platform to facilitate ride bookings and do not own or operate any vehicles ourselves.

  • Booking and Payment

    • Customers can book rides using the App.
    • Fare estimates are displayed before confirming the booking.
    • Final fare may vary based on distance, time, and traffic conditions.
    • Payments can be made through in-app payment options (UPI, wallet, card, etc.) or directly to the driver (if applicable).
    • Service charges or platform fees may apply.

  • User Responsibilities

    • Provide accurate booking information.
    • Maintain proper behavior during rides.
    • Avoid illegal or unsafe activities during trips.
    • Do not misuse or attempt to hack the App.

      • If a Customer damages the vehicle or violates rules, additional charges may apply.

  • Driver Responsibilities

    • Hold valid driving license and vehicle documents.
    • Maintain the vehicle in safe and clean condition.
    • Follow traffic laws and drive responsibly.
    • Behave professionally with Customers.

      • Violation of these terms may lead to suspension or termination of their account.

  • Cancellation Policy

    • Customers may cancel rides before pickup; cancellation charges may apply.
    • Drivers may cancel in case of emergencies or incorrect information.
    • Frequent cancellations by either party may lead to account suspension.

  • Liability Disclaimer

    • vooket only provides a technology platform.
    • We are not responsible for:
      • Driver or Customer behavior, delays, or cancellations.
      • Loss, theft, or damage of personal property during the ride.
      • Accidents or injuries during the ride (the driver is responsible under motor vehicle laws).

        • However, we strive to ensure a safe experience through verification and monitoring processes.

  • User Accounts

    • Users must create an account using accurate details.
    • Users are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.
    • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violations or misuse.

  • Data Privacy

    We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our collection and use of data as outlined there.

  • Prohibited Activities

    Users must not:

    • Use the App for unlawful purposes.
    • Harass, harm, or abuse other users or drivers.
    • Create multiple fake accounts.
    • Reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the App.

  • Suspension and Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if:

    • You violate these Terms.
    • You engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior
    • Required by law or authorities.

  • Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law:

    • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
    • Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific ride involved in the claim.

  • Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless vooket, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims or damages arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

  • Intellectual Property

    All content, trademarks, and software within the App are the property of vooket. You may not copy, distribute, or use our materials without permission.

  • Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Your City/State courts.
